Dear Colleagues, 

It is my great pleasure to invite you to the 15th Congress of the Vascular Access Society (VAS), taking place in Belgrade, Serbia, at the Sava Center from April 15 to 17, 2027. Under the motto “Focusing on Dialysis Accesses – Enhancing Quality of Life”, we will gather to share knowledge, exchange experiences, and strengthen our community dedicated to improving patient outcomes.

The Vascular Access Society (VAS) is an international multidisciplinary community that unites leading experts from diverse fields – nephrology, vascular surgery, interventional radiology, dialysis nursing and technology, radiology and related specialties – all committed to advancing knowledge and practice in vascular access. Since vascular access complications remain one of the leading causes of morbidity in dialysis patients, and hemodialysis cannot exist without reliable access, this field continues to grow rapidly, with research and innovation expanding worldwide.

The scientific program of VAS 2027 will provide a three-day meeting with state-of-the-art lectures, interactive sessions, hands-on courses, poster presentations, round tables, and networking opportunities. Dedicated sessions for dialysis nurses and technologists will also be organized, ensuring a comprehensive exchange of knowledge across disciplines.

Belgrade, a vibrant and welcoming city at the confluence of the Danube and Sava rivers, offers a unique blend of history, culture, and modern energy. The Sava Center, recently renovated, will provide an excellent venue for scientific exchange and networking. Alongside the academic program, participants will enjoy a rich social agenda, highlighting the authentic spirit and hospitality of Serbia.
