Registration Desk

Registration will be possible on all days of the congress, but please register at your earliest convenience.

Working hours:

  • Thursday, April 15: from 8:00 to 18:00
  • Friday, April 16: from 8:30 to 18:00
  • Saturday, April 17: from 8:30 to 13:00

Exhibition Area

The accompanying exhibition will take place in the Atrium Hall on the ground floor, according to the following schedule:

  • Thursday, April 15: from 8:00 to 18:00
  • Friday, April 16: from 8:30 to 18:00
  • Saturday, April 17: from 8:30 to 13:00

Name Badges

A name badge is required for admittance to all official congress sessions and events according to the type of registration. Please, collect your congress kit and name badge from the registration desk on arrival. Name badge must be collected by the registered person during the registration desk opening hours. A proof of identity will be needed e.g. passport or any photo ID. It cannot be collected or used by anyone other than the person registered and named on the badge.

Guest Attendance Policy

All event activities (including educational sessions, meal functions, exhibition area, etc.) are exclusively reserved for registered attendees. Non-registered guests (including children, family members, colleagues, etc.) are not allowed in any of the event areas. Badges provided at registration are required for entrance into all functions and will be strictly enforced.

Book of Abstracts

Book of abstract will be available to download from official website of VAS 2027, there will be no printed version.

Programme

Programme will be distributed to all participants through congress kit. Programme will be also available in pdf at the official website.

Coffee and Lunch Breaks

All coffee and lunch breaks are included in the registration fee. Coffee and lunch will be served in the Exhibition area - Atrium Hall as per the times indicated in the timetable. Special dietary corner will be available. Signage will be installed for easy navigation.

Volunteers

A team of volunteers will provide service at the Congress. They will help at the registration, provide directions, assist presenters during the congress, and much more. Volunteers will be clearly identified by their T-shirts so that participants know who to approach with any questions.

Liability and Insurance

It is recommended that participants obtain adequate insurance cover for travel, health and accidents before they depart from their countries of residence. The Congress organizer shall not be held liable for personal injury or any loss or damage to the belongings of conference participants, either during or as a result of the conference. Please check the validity of your own insurance.

WiFi

WiFi is available throughout the Venue.

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted inside the venue grounds. However, designated smoking areas will be available outside the Venue.

Certificate of Attendance

Certificates will be sent out after the Congress by email. 

Visa Requirements

Visa regulations depend on your nationality and country of origin. We suggest you contact local Serbian Consulate for official instructions on the specific visa regulations and application procedures that may apply to you. It is the responsibility of the participant to obtain a visa on time, if required. Please check here if you need visa and if you need a passport or you may enter Serbia with an ID.

Official letters of invitation will be sent on request. Such letters do not represent a commitment of the VAS 2027 Organizing Committee to provide any financial assistance. For an invitation letter, please contact vas2027@congrexpo.co.rs .

Airport transfer

  • There is no direct bus line from airport to Sava Centar but you can use bus line 72 from airport to the Palata Serbia station and then change bus to number 17 or 18 which take you directly to Sava Centar. It is free for all passengers.
  • There is also service TAXIINFO, located in the baggage claim area at Nikola Tesla Airport. At the airport Info Desk you can get the taxi receipt specifying the desired destination and the price for taxi service. That way you will make sure the taxi service is in line with the most favourable rate. Payment options: Serbian Dinars, Credit Cards and Euros.

Local transportation

There is a good public transport system in Belgrade. Public transport is free for all users. Most buses operate until midnight. To reach Sava Centar by public transport, the most convenient option is to take a bus nr: 17, 18, 70, 74, 88, 95, E6 or tram 7A and 9A.

APPLICATION: Yandex Go: This is the most popular alternative to Uber in Belgrade. You can register with an international number, set up cash payments, and get fixed-rate trips with an upfront quote.

Telephone Code

To call a foreign country from Belgrade, please dial the international code 00, then the country area code, the city area code (without 0) and, finally, the telephone number of the subscriber. The country calling code of Serbia is +381.

Time Zone

The time zone in Serbia is Central European Time (CET) (UTC plus 1 hour).

Currency

The Serbian currency is the Serbian Dinar (RSD). Credit cards (Visa, Eurocard, MasterCard) are accepted in most shops, and ATMs are widely available in downtown Belgrade. You can use Visa, Visa Electron, Plus, MasterCard, Eurocard, Maestro and Cirrus branded cards to withdraw money from an ATM. Belgrade ATMs require 4-digit pin codes.

Electricity

As in most cities of continental Europe, the electricity voltage in Belgrade is 220 V. Electrical outlets are standard European.

Water

Tap water in Belgrade is safe to drink.

Weather in Belgrade in September

In April, Belgrade experiences pleasant spring weather, with average daytime highs around 190 C and cooler nights dropping to about 80 C. It is typically a breezy month with around 11 days of light rain showers, making it ideal for outdoor sightseeing.
