Located within the central business zone of Belgrade, in the immediate vicinity of the hotel and with as many as 46 different halls, our congress center enables and supports the organization of the highest quality events. The access
Sava Center is easily accessible from all parts of the city thanks to its strategic location in New Belgrade and excellent public transport connections.
FROM NIKOLA TESLA AIRPORT
Airport Shuttle Bus
A direct express minibus connects the airport to the city center with stops near Sava Centar. The journey takes approximately 25-30 minutes and costs around 400 RSD (€3.40), payable in cash only. Departures are frequent throughout the day from the arrivals hall.
Public Buses
Regular public buses operate between the airport and various points in Belgrade, including New Belgrade where Sava Centar is located. The journey takes 30-40 minutes depending on the route and all public transport in Belgrade is completely free since January 2025. This is the most economical option for budget-conscious travelers.
Taxi Service
Official taxis provide direct transport from the airport to Sava Centar in approximately 20-25 minutes. The fixed fare is around 3,000 RSD (€25) and most drivers accept cash payment only. Always use official taxi companies to ensure fair pricing and safety.
FROM THE TRAIN STATION
PARKING FACILITIES
Sava Centar offers extensive parking facilities with 1,400 spaces available for visitors and delegates. The first 3 hours of parking are completely free, after which a modest hourly fee of 60 dinars applies. Dedicated spaces for people with reduced mobility are available throughout the parking areas.
Public Transport
Getting Around the City
Belgrade operates an extensive public transport network consisting of buses, trams, trolleybuses, and urban trains (BG:VOZ) that serve the entire metropolitan area. Since January 2025, the city has made all public transport completely free for residents and visitors, making it one of the largest European cities to offer this service. The network is well-integrated and reliable, with frequent services throughout the day connecting all major districts, tourist attractions, and business areas. Only express minibus lines and the airport shuttle require payment, while regular services can be used without tickets or passes.
